Conformance Status

Our Current Accessibility Position

TinyCare uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a practical framework for improving digital access. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, while recognizing that some pages, third-party tools, or older content may not yet fully meet every success criterion.

Target Standard

Working Toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA

Our accessibility program focuses on perceivable content, operable controls, understandable experiences, and robust compatibility with current browsers and assistive technologies.

We do not claim that every page, feature, or third-party integration is fully conformant at all times.

Scope

Shopping and Support

Our work covers product discovery, navigation, cart, checkout entry points, account features, policy pages, forms, and customer-support access.

Responsibility

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is reviewed during design, content creation, development, testing, maintenance, and vendor evaluation.

Feedback

Barriers Are Prioritized

Reported issues are reviewed according to severity, affected task, available alternative, and technical complexity.

Alternatives

Support When Access Fails

When a digital barrier blocks a task, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service another way.

Accessibility Principles

Four Principles Guide Our Work

Accessibility decisions are organized around the four core WCAG principles so improvements address both presentation and interaction.

01

Perceivable

Information should be available in forms people can perceive, including meaningful text alternatives, readable contrast, adaptable layouts, and captions where applicable.

02

Operable

Controls should be usable with keyboards and other input methods, without traps, unnecessary motion, or interactions that require precise pointing alone.

03

Understandable

Navigation, labels, instructions, error messages, and repeated interface patterns should remain clear and predictable.

04

Robust

Semantic structure and interface behavior should support current browsers, assistive technologies, and common device configurations.

Accessible Experience

Features We Work to Support

The availability and quality of individual features may vary by page, device, browser, and third-party component, but the following practices guide our website work.

  • Keyboard accessInteractive elements should be reachable and usable without requiring a mouse or touchscreen.
  • Visible focusKeyboard focus should remain visible so visitors can understand where they are on the page.
  • Meaningful structureHeadings, landmarks, labels, lists, buttons, links, and form fields should use clear semantic relationships.
  • Responsive readingContent should adapt to smaller screens and magnification without forcing unnecessary horizontal scrolling.
  • Motion preferencesNonessential motion should be reduced when a device reports a reduced-motion preference.

Compatibility

Browsers and Assistive Technology

TinyCare is designed for current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies. Results may differ when software is outdated, unsupported, heavily customized, or used with a third-party feature outside our direct control.

Screen readersWe work to support semantic reading order, labels, headings, links, buttons, forms, and image alternatives.
Keyboard navigationWe work to support tab, shift-tab, enter, space, arrow-key, and escape behavior where appropriate.
Zoom and magnificationLayouts are intended to reflow and remain readable when text or the page is enlarged.
Voice and alternative inputClear labels and standard controls are intended to improve compatibility with voice and switch-based tools.
For the most reliable experience, use an up-to-date browser and assistive technology combination supported by the relevant software providers.

Accessibility Across the Journey

Key Shopping Tasks We Review

Accessibility priorities focus on tasks that help visitors understand products, make choices, place orders, manage deliveries, and receive support.

Discover Products

Navigation, collection labels, search, filters, product titles, images, pricing, discounts, and availability should be understandable.

Review Product Details

Descriptions, dimensions, compatibility, instructions, safety information, and variations should use readable and structured content.

Use the Cart

Adding, updating, removing, and reviewing products should be possible using standard controls with clear status feedback.

Complete Checkout

Fields, instructions, errors, totals, shipping details, and payment steps should be clearly identified, including when third parties provide components.

Track and Return

Order status, delivery information, return instructions, and exchange steps should be available in a readable format.

Request Support

Contact information and assistance should remain available when a visitor cannot complete a task through the website.

Assessment Approach

How Accessibility Is Reviewed

TinyCare may use a combination of automated checks, manual review, keyboard testing, responsive testing, content review, assistive-technology spot checks, and feedback from customers.

01
Design reviewLayouts, color contrast, focus states, motion, text size, spacing, and interaction patterns are considered before release.
02
Technical reviewSemantic HTML, accessible names, form relationships, keyboard behavior, responsive reflow, and error handling are checked.
03
Content reviewHeadings, links, alternative text, instructions, policies, product information, and language clarity are reviewed.
04
Issue remediationConfirmed barriers are documented, prioritized, corrected where feasible, and reviewed again after changes.

Known Limitations

Areas That May Need More Work

The following areas can present accessibility challenges. We review them as services, content, and third-party technology change.

Third-Party Checkout and Payment Tools
Some checkout, accelerated-payment, verification, or payment interfaces are supplied by third parties. TinyCare can report issues and seek alternatives, but may not control every element of those tools.
Embedded Media and Social Content
Embedded videos, social posts, maps, widgets, or externally hosted content may have accessibility limitations. Alternative information may be provided when available.
Older Images and Documents
Older product images, downloadable files, or archived content may need improved alternative text, structure, reading order, or document tagging.
Product Content from Suppliers
Some manuals, videos, compatibility tables, or instructions originate with manufacturers or suppliers and may not yet meet TinyCare accessibility expectations.
Dynamic Apps and Widgets
Review, chat, tracking, subscription, recommendation, or promotional apps may change independently and can introduce new barriers after an update.
Alternative Formats
An alternative format may not be instantly available for every item, but we will make reasonable efforts to provide the needed information or complete the affected service another way.
